I'm a product designer with a passion for using technology to reinvent and improve the world through first principle's thinking and problem centric design.
Born and raised in Seattle, WA, I cut my teeth in the world of design at Microsoft, designing MR interactions for the HoloLens 2. Then I moved down to San Francisco, CA, where I took my background in spatial design and used it to reinvent how people engage with their health at Forward. In my free time, I'm a collector of hobbies but the ones I show most love to are climbing, cooking, and ultimate frisbee.
Led the design of new products involving UX/UI, system design, and animation. Managed a team of 2 remote animators through art direction, storyboarding, capacity management, and daily crits. Defined a design system and created components to support the design and engineering teams. Helped shape the early design strategy and roadmap for a new product offering. Designed an internal tools to 3x the speed of production for engineering.
Designed mixed reality experiences for both HoloLens and mobile platforms to enable factory floor technicians and engineers to get remote assistance on complex machinery via 3D annotations. Owned the end to end experience design of the product. Collaborated with 30+ engineers and PMs.
Validated startup ideas with the goal of bringing them to seed funding to spin out. Conducted market research, customer development, financial modeling, and more. Created landing pages and launched facebook marketing campaigns.
Worked on internal frontend frameworks and built an application for the Daydream.
Developed a HoloLens application for visualizing skin grafts on burn victims (Unity, C#). Iterated on designing arm tracking methods using QR code tracking libraries. Worked with developer to create burn models.
