Cedric
is a product designer at Coinbase.
Born and raised in Seattle, I cut my teeth in the world of design at Microsoft, creating MR interactions for the HoloLens 2. Then I moved down to San Francisco, where I took my background in spatial design and used it to reinvent how people engage with their health at Forward.
I built and launched a product that facilitates 1-on-1 mentoring for students who are seeking more personalized career advice and mentoring. We've helped over 80 people get design career advice.
I volunteered for a local non-profit called Real Change which addresses homelessness in Seattle. I've designed various projects for them including posters, social media campaigns, and even Christmas wrapping paper.
For my Informatics Capstone project, I partnered with a non-profit in Vashon Island, WA, called Food Access Partnership (FAP). They are a program for low income people to get vouchers, aka "VIGA Farm Bucks", that they can redeem at farmer's markets. We designed a QR code system for FAP to track the usage data of their vouchers which they can use for grant writing and service improvements.
